What is the USMLE?
Your pathway to practising medicine in the USA
The United States Medical Licensing Examination is a three-step assessment that international and US medical graduates must pass to be licensed to practise medicine in the United States. It tests your ability to apply knowledge, concepts and principles, and to demonstrate the skills that form the basis of safe, effective patient care.
It's a long road — and the right preparation system changes everything. That's exactly what we're building.

Step 1 · Basic Sciences
The foundation of medicine
Step 1 assesses whether you understand and can apply the basic science concepts that underpin the practice of medicine — with an emphasis on principles and mechanisms of health, disease and therapy. It's the bedrock everything else builds on.
Step 1 is reported as pass / fail, so the goal is solid, confident mastery across every system.
