Future Meds Academy convenes IMAT 2026 Final Oral Examination for 1–6 August

Italy, 18 July 2026 — Future Meds Academy today issued the decree convening the Final Oral Examination of its IMAT 2026 Preparatory Programme. Sixty-six candidates will be examined over six consecutive days, from Saturday 1 August to Thursday 6 August 2026.

The examination is conducted on the model applied by Italian universities. Each candidate sits four separate orals — Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics — before four commissions sitting in parallel. Each oral lasts twenty minutes and is marked out of thirty, with eighteen out of thirty the minimum pass in each subject. The distinction of 30 e lode may be awarded only where a panel is unanimous.

Candidates rotate through all four panels on the single day assigned to them. Sittings run from 12:00 to 17:00 CEST, with the final twenty minutes of each day reserved for the deliberation of the commissions.

Syllabus

The examination is confined to Weeks 1 to 8 of the teaching plan in each subject. Content taught from Week 9 onwards is excluded.

In Biology this covers the chemistry of life through to Mendelian and non-Mendelian genetics; in Chemistry, the constituents of matter through to chemical kinetics; in Physics, physical quantities and measurement through to electric circuits; and in Mathematics, number sets through to functions and graphs.

Commissions

The four examining commissions are:

BChemistryNishant Swami, Debra Tadiwanashe, Munish Singh Poonia
CPhysicsAli Naqi, Hansika Poonia, Amir Akhtar
DMathematicsDivya Dhankar, Tahira Faheem

Anonymity and ranking

Candidates are identified throughout by enrolment number alone. Names and nationalities appear on no timetable, list or published result. At the start of each oral a candidate states their enrolment number and personal identification number, which the panel verifies against an internal register that is not disclosed.

The final overall ranking will be released at the end of the day on Sunday 9 August 2026 on the Academy examination portal at mocktest.futuremedsacademy.com. It will list candidates in descending order of aggregate score, showing the enrolment number, the four subject marks, the aggregate out of thirty and the rank position. Neither names nor personal identification numbers will appear. Each candidate will be able to locate only their own position.

Where candidates return the same aggregate score, they are placed at the same rank position.

Participation

Participation is mandatory for every candidate who returned an affirmative confirmation, and may not be withdrawn once given. Each admitted candidate must return a signed confirmation and non-disclosure undertaking through the examination portal before their allocated day. Candidates who have not returned the signed undertaking will not be admitted to the panels.

The content of the orals and the deliberations of the commissions are confidential until the ranking is released.

Six enrolled candidates declined to participate and are recorded accordingly. No mark is entered for them and they do not appear in the ranking.
